At Somerstone Farm we are passionate about producing premium quality lucerne on our farm at Stanhope in the Goulburn Valley… “The Home of Victorian Lucerne”.

Coupled with our equestrian property at Somers on the Mornington Peninsula we can distribute our lucerne to the local market, to both big and small customers.

We understand lucerne and we understand horses!

Inspired by our mutual passion for horses we spoke with and listened to other horse owners and saw an opportunity to create a business in the industry we love.

So we converted our dairy farm at Stanhope into a property dedicated solely to producing premium quality lucerne. This enabled us to provide a consistent and reliable supply of lucerne direct to horse owners at affordable and steady prices, with good old fashioned customer service.

With all this in place, Somerstone Farm was created by Co-Founder’s – Greg and Trina.
